  • Identify and manage third-party service providers, such as administrators, custodians, auditors, attorneys and accountants
  • Assist with new fund set-up and structuring
  • Identify systems needed/evaluate existing systems
  • Manage human resources functions, including recruiting, benefits administration, employee development and evaluation
  • Fund accounting or review/approval of administrator prepared books and records
  • Perform and document operational due diligence reviews of external investment managers, including on-site interviews, review of offering documents and background investigations
  • Cash management, including monitoring cash balances, capital requirements, investment funding, managing reserves
  • Oversee preparation of fund financial statements; supervise fund audits and tax reporting
  • Technology assessment, selection, implementation and coordination
  • Coordinate legal due diligence, documentation reviews and contract management
  • Assist with investor relations matters, including fund documentation (subscriptions, redemptions, AML requirements); review of correspondence, marketing materials and RFPs; respond to investor operational diligence inquiries
  • Database management
  • Risk assessments and reviews of key operational controls
  • Accounting support and tax reporting
  • Advise on other management and investment matters as needed
